Due to the high-quality education, and rich and diverse activities offered, our summer program has been very popular among students and parents in the past few years. This year, we continue to sponsor a new summer program and welcome parents and students to join our big family!
Class Date: July 6-August18, 2019 Monday to Friday 8:00 AM –5:30 PM
Enrollment: All grades from PK to 11th
Camp Location: Bayside, Queens, New York
Programs and Schedules
8: 00 AM to 9:00 AM: Check In and Breakfast
9:00 AM to 11: 30 AM: Morning Class (English, Math, Social Studies, SAT, PSAT, SHSAT, ESL, Chinese Language: Pinyin, Simplified and Traditional Characters)
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM: Lunch Break:
12:30 PM to 4:00 PM: Afternoon Class (Chinese, Chinese Culture, Kung Fu, Folk Dancing, Music, Painting, Social Studies, and Sciences(selected), etc.
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Ball & Chess Games
5:00 PM -5:30 PM: Dismissal
A total of 5 Field Trips: Museum, Bowling, Park, BBQ, etc.
Teaching Faculty and Materials
Teachers in English, Math, Science, (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry), Social Study, Spanish, and ESL are experienced licensed public school teachers.
Chinese is taught by native speakers who have teaching experiences.
Chinese Kung Fu, Painting, Dancing, and Music are taught by renowned experts in their fields.
Teaching Materials
English and Math: Emphasis on basic training. Selections will correspond with state-wide tests and will be using publicly acknowledged good teaching materials combining basic knowledge with testing suitable for different grades.
Chinese: Selections will be pinyin material widely used by different American universities.
Meals
Meals are free and provided by USDA through School Food, NYC Department of Education.
Kindergartener & First graders have snacks.
Class Division
Except for SAT, PSAT, ESL, and science classes, your child will be assigned to classes based on his/her grade level in school with adjustments for best results.
